Permanent Shower Curtain Minder (Magnetic)

We all know the problem. Standing in the bathtub shower with the shower curtain trying to hug you while you are busy cleaning yourself.

This is no more. Print out these bad boys, snap them onto the shower curtain and they will now neatly latch your shower curtain onto your steel bathtub.

I printed mine in PETG, but PLA should work as well, unless you shower in boiling water.

Slap some 12mm x 2mm round magnets into the friction fit hole and then clasp them onto the curtain with the snappy bit on the inside and the magnetic thingy on the outside.

Print the bottom one with the hole up and the top one with the large surface laying on the bed. No other magic is required.

Post printing I used some wet sanding to level the infill on the top piece to a smoother finish. Not needed, but just gives that little bit extra.

How I Designed This

I searched around for something already designed, and while I found a few shower curtain minders that were magnetic, they seemed to require me to manually set the magnet onto the curtain every time which I couldn´t be bothered with.

I therefore designed these guys, printed a test or two and then decided they were good enough for me and to be shared with the rest of the world.
