I'm a big fan of Squirt drip wax. Unfortunately, I cracked the auxiliary cap on the bottle, so I have been resorting to keeping it sealed with some painter's tape.
I was pretty surprised that I couldn't find a 24/410 dispensing bottle cap 3D model online and I didn't want to buy a 50 pack on Amazon, so I spent way too much time iterating on details and should have bought the 50 pack but oh well made one! Here ya go.
I recommend printing this with 0.12 mm layers, and this is important for the main bottle cap.
There's a "bridge counterbore" feature modeled in so that you don't need support to print the floating underside of the main counterbore (shout out to this great Onshape FeatureScript!)
0.12 mm layers seems to be good enough for nice thread performance too.
Would I trust this upside down in a bag? No. But that's up to you. I did try squeezing the bottle with the printed cap closed and it doesn't seem to leak!
I recommend printing this with many perimeters so that it's mostly solid. I printed mine in ABS.
Hope you enjoy!
