This has always been one of my most favorite comic strips. There was a paper model of this rocket that my girlfriend put together a while back, but being paper... well, it didn't hold up through the years. I thought this would make a great model to do on a 3d printer. And since bigger is always better, I made this in sections. This thing stands 426mm tall when assembled, but prints easily on a 200mm printer.

This should go without saying, but [rocketscience-DO_NOT_PRINT.stl] is not to be printed. It is included just so the assembled CAD model can be shown completed.

Notes:

Assembly should be straight forward using the filenames as a guide. This model is meant to be glued together. The fins will only go in correctly one way, so if they don't fit, flip them around until they do.

You can use any colors you like, but to be accurate to the cartoon:

all "_stage" pieces - white or grey

fins - blue

nose cone - red

nozzles - red

pins (5 needed) - any color
