A customer brought in a Chinese chainsaw that he'd bought online. The choke level had broken and he didn't have any of the pieces. I've never heard of a PDTO, so I have no idea where to get replacement parts for this or if you even can. Fire up FreeCAD and a few iterations later, we're up by another happy customer.
I printed this in PETG to hopefully withstand the temperatures within a chainsaw at a layer height of 0.2mm and 40% triangular infill. You will need supports enabled and I raised it above the bed by 10mm so that the knob was better supported. The original lever more than likely had a plastic pin that hooked into the choke lever, but I knew that 3d printed plastic at that diameter would never hold up. Instead, I cut a small piece of heavy-duty wire I had laying around (maybe a coat hanger?) and bent it into a small 'L' shape. I heated up the longer end with a torch lighter and then pressed it into the hole, with the 'L' pointing towards the knob. Hook that into the choke lever and you're good to goat.
