Stay cool during a hot day!
This is DIY small personal office desk cooler. I needed a cooler for my office as my pc is heating the room very fast and I did not wanted to buy a big expensive A/C. My goals for this project were to model everything with the least amount of material waste (support material) needed and that everything is easibly printable.
What you need to print:
1x door_cold.stl, 15% infill, support on built plate only
What you need for the whole project:
1x 140mm fan (I had an old Noctua fan lying around, however any other should do the job as well) (https://www.amazon.com/Premium-Quality-Technology-NF-A14-PWM/dp/B00CP6QLY6)
a 12V 6-8A PSU
I suggest not going higher than 6-8A as the fans will no longer be able to transfer the produced heat. The cooler will no longer cool as the peltiers are getting to hot.
If you want you could also 3d print the screws and bolts.
I am soon publishing an evaporative cooling approach with much less heat output.
UPDATE
I improved the doors so now the close completely.
