Auxetic Material (re-entrant structure)

A metamaterial that expands as it is stretched (normal materials contract). It therefore has a negative Poisson's ratio.

Description

Auxetic materials expand as they are stretched. This re-entrant structure uses a bow-tie unit cell that is placed in a pattern. As for auxetic structures this is a simple one.
