Garden Hose Siphon Filter Basket

Designed this to attach to a common garden hose so it could be used to siphon large amounts of water while preventing leaves or other debris creating a blockage in the small hose opening.

In hindsight, I should have printed this in orange or yellow to make it easier to see in murky water. Otherwise it performed perfectly, providing a large area to stop leaves/twigs/etc. from blocking the flow of water and prevent them from interrupting the siphoning of the water.

I printed this without supports, and was able to clean up the small amount of filament that drooped inside where the bridging of the top was less than perfect. 

Update 04-18-2022:

Following the excellent suggestion by ejantzer (thank you!) who pointed out that an angled top would be easier to print than the flat top of the original design, I added two versions you can choose from, based on how well your printer handles overhangs.
