Customizable Couch Armrest Table with optional Tablet Holder

First and foremost, this is an armrest table for various sizes and shapes of couch armrests. On top of that, I found it appealing to attach things to my sofa. So, with the included adapter to multifunction arm system, you can add screens, tablets, phones, webcams, microphones or anything else you may need while chilling on the couch 😊 I use it as a second screen holder.

Measure your armrest first for the optimal setup of plate and sides (find width of the parts in file names)

Assembly

Connect the plate and each side part with a piece of filament. Just slide it in to the end and cut the excess. Optionally use a drop of superglue for fixation.

Options

Attach included stabilizing rails for slip off protection. According to your armrest shape use small, medium or big radius version and slide it onto the side parts (press-fit). It’s enough to stabilize one side, but of course you can do both.

Attach Multifunction Arm mounting system (small version) with the included connector rail. Parts for a basic tablet holder included. For endless options and more information > check the original model by RostaP and the 100+ remixes. You may have to mirror connector rail part, depending on which side you want to attach the arm. Check default orientation at the images. The original tablet holder needs 4 x M4x20 screws + nuts. I'm thinking about a fully printable alternative > stay tuned / follow

Printing
  • PLA or any material with default settings sufficient for armrest table parts (plate+sides)

  • PETG with 8 perimeters/walls and 30% infill recommended for Multifunction Arm parts and arm connector

  • Print all parts in the given orientation

  • Don't use brim or supports, especially for side parts (as it may be hard to remove)

  • Sample printed in PLA Copper + PETG White @ 0.2 layer height

Restrictions
  • The device on the arm probably shouldn't be heavier then 1 kg.

  • The tablet holder should be positioned above the plate to be tilt-proof.

Updates
  • 2026/05/10 - error correction in tablet hinge model
