A compact and functional enclosure designed for a multi-port USB charging module with integrated display — built around a recycled laptop battery.

Features

    • 2x USB-A

    • 1x USB-C

    • 1x Micro-USB

  • Side ports:

    • Lightning input

  • Top window for display

  • Snap-fit lid with optimized tolerance

  • Separate printable power button with internal actuator

  • Slightly rounded edges for a cleaner look

    Battery & Concept

  • This project reuses battery cells from a defective laptop pack, turning e-waste into a functional power bank.

  • 📏 Internal battery space:

  • Length: ~112 mm

  • Width: ~66–67 mm

  • Height: ~18–20 mm

  • Compatible with:

  • 18650 Li-ion cells

  • Custom battery packs with similar dimensions

  • ⚠ Important:
    Use only batteries with proper protection (BMS).

    Printing Tips

  • Material: PLA / PETG

  • Layer height: 0.2 mm

  • No supports required

  • Print parts separately

  • For best fit, ensure good dimensional accuracy

     Design Notes

  • This model was adjusted after real-world printing:

  • USB ports resized for proper cable fit

  • USB-C and Micro-USB repositioned and lowered

  • Button slot corrected in size and position

  • Lid tolerance redesigned for smooth closing

  • Case dimensions slightly increased for better fit
