I really liked the idea of a light in my enclosure that wasn't attached to the enclosure so that quick and easy removal of the enclosure for maintenance wasn't a hassle.
I found this one which I liked and printed, then realized the issues with it; scaling and the extruder would hit it at full height. I used it as a basis to create my own and add height to it.
After printing the LED strip holder needs to be glued together. I just used some leftover 12v LED tape strip that I had from a different project. I wired it into a spare 12v output on my power supply and control the light with a relay switch that is controlled through GPIO output via Octoprint on a raspberry pi.
update
I added some new fasteners to attach it to the ceiling of the enclosure and ditched the arms. New stl added for the fasteners.
