Drive bay adapter

Adapter for fitting a 3.5" device in a 5.25" bay. Useful for mounting your card reader, fan controller, floppy/zip/tape drive, USB header, etc.

Prints without support. All overhangs are 45° except for the screw holes.

Print slow and cool if you want a pretty result. Beware of lifting corners.

Post-Printing

You can fit the 3.5" device to the adapter with one or two screws on each side, or two screws underneath.

To secure the adapter in the bay, use one self-tapping screw on each side. Regular optical drive bay screws will probably also work OK.
