I have seen various couch snack bars online, but none fit my need. This is why I built this modular version, which uses IKEA metal containers to keep it food-safe. All parts are connected by using dovetails.
These are the IKEA products I use for the snack bar:
You can mix and match different parts however you like by using the different dovetails.
To keep my idea of the dovetail and to keep supports to a minimum, I have decided to print everything at a 45° angle. I had no problems with bed adhesion, but a brim or an additional adhesive (e.g., glue stick) might be helpful. I am using PLA.
I have printed my prototype in standard draft mode. I have noticed that depending on the filament, I had different tightness levels with the dovetails. With well-optimised profiles, they are a bit loose. I have tested a tighter version and it seems to work well. You should print one loose and one tight dovetail and then decide which version you like better (start with a small one). It does not impact stability either way.
