Miniature Magnetizing Plate

I've seen a lot of the individual plates out there that help you glue the magnet for a miniature's base in the same polarity. And I've seen a few commercial options that will do more than one size. I liked those, but something was missing

In fact, I saw one, ONE, design out there that not only had the basic circular bases but also the most common oval bases. This was my absolute favorite design, but shipping from another country and wait time and that whole nine yards was not my jam.

So I spent a few hours slopping this together. A 170mm base with cutouts for 9 different base sizes. It's not great as I model in Windows 3D builder, but it works for my purposes.

The base sizes included are:

• 25mm

• 28mm

• 32mm

• 40mm

• 50mm

• 60mm

• 60mm x 35mm (Incorrectly labeled as 65x35 in the original labeled options)

• 75mm x 42mm

• 90mm x 52mm

I've also set up a painted .3mf if you want the different slots labels with multi color or a debossed option to paint the label.

I have the file set up with 10mm x 2mm magnet slots. It's not too big of a deal to knock out other sizes, so just hit me up in the comments. They press fit in and of course, its smart to super glue them down.

Neat Fact: After adding magnets, you could absolutely store this plate on a file cabinet or a fridge to keep it handy.

UPDATE: 4/6/2026 - I noticed on mine that the ovals didn't quite fit right. Adjusted the smaller two as I had found someone who has validated those bases. I'm still looking for a correct 90x52mm.
