I needed a nice simple prop pistol so I could use it in the film that I am making and I made this. It can't do anything other than the trigger moves back and sand snaps forward with a rubber band located inside (see image).
It's super easy to print and assemble with 3mm diameter wooden dowels and glue in the holes located in the separate parts to hold all of it together! Start with the two handle halves with the trigger and then fit the top slide and the decorative bottom magazine. The trigger will require a bigger dowel of about 4.4mm in diameter. In order make the trigger snap back forward, you need to pass a rubber band through the second trigger hole and loop it around another dowel at the bottom of the right and left body sides. See last image for a visual. You can choose to print or paint it all black like pistols in traditional movie fight scenes or you can make the slide grey like in the images. Have fun!!
