I do a lot of driving for work and wanted somewhere to put my rubbish to keep the car a bit tidier. I designed this bin holder that hooks onto the passenger head restraint and allows a bin bag to be held securely in it.

The main bracket has 10mm slots in to allow easier adjustment between different head-restraints. It is connected by the arms to the restraint. Because I only had 6mm x 30mm bolts available I made an adaptor so it could be used to secure the two parts together. I also have designed a bin for the bag to go into, although I haven't printed this yet. The bolt adaptors and bin are designed in SketchUp as I just wanted something quick and I am still learning Fusion360!

The arms may need to have the hole size changed to fit your head restraint.

Included are the STL files I have used to print the first version, I have also uploaded the Fusion360 file so people can adjust to what they need.

Eventually I would like to

Print instructions

As this is for a car, and the insides of cars can get quite hot in the summer in most countries, I would recommend printing in ABS or PETG.

I've uploaded my gcode mostly because it will give an indication of the time to print. I would recommend you slice your own from the STLs for your printer/material/nozzle etc.
