Bracket to mount a DEFA car heater with a single bolt, e.g. to a steel grid.
Fits the DEFA bracket with wood screws and a 8mm bolt in the center hole. I mounted it to a steel grid in the back of my wifes pickup with a 50mm square shim and padded with foam tape. Fits real tight and is a steady and relatively fire safe mount. Having it high up and mounted to steel it has much less chance of being accidentally covered and posing a fire hazard. it is also slightly angled to provide safer air flow and access to the release mechanism.
Print it upside down from what the model appears in thingiverse.
Printed in PETG, use thick upper and lower layers 20%+ infill to take the bolt tightening well.
This version is a bit different from what i printed as i noticed it would be much easier to just use wood screws and not m3 bolts.
