I built this to use on my French cleat wall. There was not a magnetic organizer that exactly fit my Tekton socket set, so I made one. I combined it with some ½" plywood, some bar and cup magnets from Amazon and made a wall mounted socket set holder where I could easily remove 1 socket from the holder or the whole bank of sockets and take it with me.
My exact use case might not be what you are looking for, but the 3D printed parts should be useful for anyone that has this socket set for use in a variety of places.
I printed these on my Original Prusa Mini with 15% infill, 4 perimeters and 4 top and bottom layers using PLA. To get it to fit on my Mini I set the skirt to 0 loops. No supports were needed and the magnets fit really well press fitted in. Since I screwed these into backing there was no need to epoxy the magnets in.
Each bank uses 10 of the bar magnets, so for the whole project you need 40, making this not not a super cheap organizer.
I did make custom vinyl labels for mine, so there are indents where those labels go. My labels do cover up the screw holes. I included my label file in case you want to print your own labels, It was created in Adobe Illustrator and saved as a pdf and all fonts have been converted to outlines. If you wanted these exact labels you should be able to take this file to a sign/banner/sticker place and they could print these out for you.
I also installed some of my swiveling cleat locks on the back to lock these on the wall (link below).
I honestly forget what size flat head screws I used, Either #8 or #6 and it depends what you might be screwing them into to judge what length you need. (and my labels now cover them up).
