Version 2 has 2.5mm deeper hole for the socket screw. It was a bit shallow in first version. If you have a long camera tripod socket screw, use version 1.

Can open film door and change film just fine. Just flip the notch back after you open the door.

PLA plastic is pretty stong but brittle. It does not bend, it snaps when it breaks. Therefore, do not apply pressure to the camera when composing. I strongly recommend using a geared head, like the BENRO GD3WH, where no force is applied to the camera and plate.

Under no circumstance do I take responsibility for damage on the item, if it breaks during use or if anything else breaks because of item failure.

It works well, but be careful when using it.
