made a case for the Boardsource Lily58 keyboard, and it is my first design for a keyboard shell. This model has just a few quarks; one is that there is no access to the reset switch, and one or two switch fitment issues. But one fully accomplished experience is great. just started using the finished version and will get a new version made eventually.

for the parts list all you need is your original kits pcb and 10 m2x4mm screw, so basicllly just need fillament and a lily 58 kit.

Printing tips: All parts print and fit perfectly for me, except the pad base. If the base has too little infill, holes appear in the wrist rest. To avoid this, use 50% infill for just the wrist rest section and 35% infill for the other parts of the base. I will provide an assembly that includes a separate part modifier for the base; when slicing, apply the modifier to set 60% infill on the wrist rest only. This modifier is to help save infill material elsewhere.

Version 2

The first significant change was the addition of a wrist pad. I wanted to minimize infill waste for the base, so I separated the largest parts of the base. Now, you can create a wrist pad using TPU/TPE for added comfort.

The second biggest change is the top plate. I replaced the small window with the screen and controller cover, and now only the screen is visible. This version allows access to the reset button.

To me, the most challenging part of this print is the support removal of the top plate with no damage.
