Alienware X15 R2 Laptop Stand

Designed from scratch, but inspired by the Lenovo Legion 5 Laptop stand.

Specifically made to fit on the chassis of an Alienware X15 R2.

Quick to print, solid and great to drop in a bag or backpack on the go.

Some keypoints of the design are:

• It does not obstruct any of the top ports (audio jack and charging);
• It does not cover any of the intake and exhaust skirts for the fans;
• Allows for the full range of motion of the lid;

Both the f3d and step files are provided, together with the STLs, for ease of modification if needed.

Print settings

• Printed in SUNLU PLA+ (other materials should also work, like PETG or ABS)
• 4 walls, 15% infills (gyroid)
• .2mm resolution (but if you are in a rush I prototyped it at .28 and that also works fine);
• No supports needed, STLs are pre-oriented
• No skirt or brim should be needed
