I had a lawnmower strip and finally break its drive belt, which happened to be a 5M-550-15.
Then I thought, why not use it for a strap wrench which I had planned to buy eventually.
5M: pitch is HTD 5mm (High Torque Drive), meaning a rounded teeth design
550: is the length in mm. Any length will do really...
15: is the width of the belt, in mm
Voilà!
Covers are optional, and the fit for the fixed part of the belt is really snug and may need a few hammer strikes.
Picture is slightly different, as the CAD was updated following the print, according to what I thought could be improved. Let me know how it goes.
The design can be found (and edited) on OnShape with the name "Strap Wrench 5M-550-15" if you have a different type of belt you want to use.
