A choche can raise the local soil temperature by up to 10°C and hasten germination of direct-sown crops, or offering protection to tender crops.
Keykegs can be recycled into excellent closhes but can blow away in the wind. This peg is aimed at holding them in place, and keeping your plants safe.
This version lengths the spike and thins their walls to allow it to be driven into the ground more securely. Additionally, pegs have been added to allow the peg to more positively hold the cloche with holes punched in the site - a paper punch was used for this purpose. These modifications are aimed at providing better wind resistance.
