Compact All-Purpose Utility Scoop (~ 3 Cup)

Description

I shrunk this down from the original to make it more useful for everyday tasks. I originally made it so my kid could use it easily, but the handle actually fits my adult hand really well too. It gives a solid grip without being bulky.

Capacity: Holds about 3 cups of dry goods (pet food, grain, ice, etc.).

Dimensions:

• Height: 183mm (high side) / 120mm (low side)

• Width: 71mm

• Handle: 26mm offset

How I Printed It

No supports needed. It came out with a great finish using these settings:

• Nozzle/Layer: 0.4mm / 0.2mm

• Walls: 5 loops (sturdy)

• Infill: 20% Gyroid

• Speed: Slowed the walls down (120 outer / 250 inner) to keep the surface clean.

• Resized: Fits 220mm high build areas.

• Volume: 3-cup capacity is a practical size for most household jobs.

• Better Fit: Handle offset works for everyone in the house.

Resized for AD5M: Shrunk down to fit 220x220 build plates perfectly.

Dimensions: Approx. 183mm at the high edge, 120mm at the low edge, and 71mm across.

Handle Design: The handle is 26mm from the body. It was scaled to be more practical for my child to use, but it actually fits my adult hand really comfortably too.

Practical Volume: Reduced to a 3-cup capacity, which is a better size for most daily household tasks.
