K31 Schmidt Rubin W&F diopter front sight insert

The W&F diopter is mainly used for competition shooting. Most second hand sets are equipped with a ring insert but in my country this is not allowed for military rifle competitions. Original sets are expensive or unobtainable at all so I created one myself. The Freecad file is included in case you want to change the width from 2,2 mm to something else or if you want to create something completely different.

I made it slightly thicker than the original steel insert for strength, this doesn’t affect the performance at all.

I printed it with a .25 mm nozzle using prusament black ASA 6 perimeters 0.05 mm layer thickness.

28-2-2026: I added a few more widths and also the ring sights for those who dont have any of the originals. The freecad file contains all models. Original is in the old version folder.
