Designed for versatility and strength, this mount uses 9.5 mm diameter dowel rods (easily available at Walmart - 3/8" x 12" Dowel Rods) and a combination of hex hardware to keep everything solid and adjustable. It’s not just a mount — it’s a mechanical handshake between practicality and clever design.

4 Ă— M8 hex head screws with nuts (mounting arms to joining links)
4 additional M3 hex head screws (mounting arms to dowel rods and headrest rod)
The mounting arms slide smoothly over 14 mm headrest rods, making it compatible with most vehicles. I’ve shared one set of arms and links — you’ll need to print it twice to secure both sides and hold the dowel rod horizontally.
This mount lives in a car. Cars get hot. PLA will surrender in summer. Don’t use it.
Use PETG or ABS for durability and heat resistance.
