printed as a multi colour first layer
if your printer cannot print multi colour look up tutorials for single extruder multi colour printing on YT or print as 2 separate files, just make sure bed leveling is off for the second colour and your z lift is greater than 0.2mm
ensure both filaments used are the same as PLA does not stick to PETG
designed for a 0.2mm layer height (only first layer needs to be 0.2mm, other layers can be larger/smaller)
a textured PEI or similar bed is recommended for a more natural look
Printed in a single colour (matching the main top cover colour)
supports on
"everywhere" setting on (any marring to the bottom surface of the cover will be covered by the pages during assembly)
Print in a white (of similar) filament
use a large layer height to achieve the appearance of pages
0.3 or higher recommended depending on your nozzle size
the pages are glued onto the bottom cover with whatever glue works for you
there is a slight counter sink in the bottom cover to ensure alignment
the top and bottom covers are connected using a filament hinge
clean up the hinge holes as needed with a small diameter drill bit
push a length of filament into these holes while aligned
it may be difficult to push a single length of filament in one go so using 2 (one from each side) will work as well
trim ends off of filament hinge
and voila! you're done!
NOTES:
a blank cover STL is also included if you want to design your own cover art
a STL of the pages without the dividers is also included
