Small lamp using IKEA Kapplake

I wanted to

• make use of the IKEA kapplake that I had laying around

• make a first attempt at a lamp

• have a base for changing to other lamp shades

I wanted to keep the kapplake's ability to press the lamp to turn it on and off again which works.

If anyone designs a more alaborate shade I would love to see that in the comments with a link. The current version is just a simple cylinder. This was my first print using vase mode and I hope to be able to create more elaborate versions in the future.

Size is about 75mm in height and diameter.

Printed mine in white PLA.

The f3d file is available if anyone wants to modify it or make a bigger version.

Now that I have completed my first lamp I already have some improvement ideas. One would be a better solution for keeping the kapplake firmly fixed. Will see when I get around to implementing better solutions even if this one seems to work.
