Hard Hat Mold - Low Pressure Injection Molding

This is a mold meant for HDPE, it makes a hardhat keychain with a bobcat head on the top. it could be used for wax or low temperature plastics instead of injection molding. This was also originally made to be machined out of aluminum. but could be printed using polycarbonate, or a resin.

when fully printed, use the through holes on the top to put two 1/4" bolts tighten them down. then use the blind holes on top to connect the optional cartridge heaters to create the heated mold. then put your nozzle with your material in the 7mm hole to inject. The tests for this mold was tested at 100 psi.
