This is a nozzle wiper for the CR-10SE. It uses those inexpensive A1 nozzle wipers, which can be found online for a couple of bucks. I made this because the purge line would always pick up a blob of filament, potentially ruining the print.

To find the silicone wipers, simply search "Bambu A1 nozzle wiper."

Instructions

  1. Print the Model like this:

Infill: Gyroid at 10%

Walls: 3 Walls

Support: Regular/Default

  1. Place the wiper into the cutout

Most of them come with 3-M tape on the bottom, but you can also use super glue.

  1. Place the part into the bed

•Remove Bed

•Remove right screws

•Lift the bed up slightly to remove the bottom right screw (apply force at the edge of the bed)

•Put the metal tube (what are the names of these?) into the wiper holder

•Place the wiper and screw back

•Screw back both of the metal tubes

•Put the bed on

  1. Slicer Configuration

Download and copy the contents of the "Slicer Configuration" text file.

Navigate into printer settings (Pencil Icon)

Remove everything in "Machine start G-code"

Paste the text into the box.

⚠⚠The wiper has a 1mm(?) gap. By default, abl and nozzle offset calibration should do all the work. If you are experiencing problems, just change the Z in X235 Y40 Z2 F6000 to a higher or lower value.⚠⚠

If you have made it this far, congrats! Your machine can now perform nozzle wiping! Too bad this printer is so niche, there aren't many other mods for it.....
