Features/Assembly

• Four classical Greek column corner pillars

• Two-part protective lid

• Fully modular construction for a 235x235mm print bed

• Clean seam alignment for post-assembly finishing

Designed for a tight fit. Assemble top and lower right and left sides first, then push together

Book will snug into bed without damaging your corners but you will have to lift your cover for book removal. 

The Design prints in 6 total parts:

• Base Assembly (4 parts)

  • 4 x column corner sections with interlocking alignment slots

• Lid Assembly (2 parts)

  • Top Lode Cover

  • Bottom Lode Cover

This allows large-format presentation while remaining compatible with common printers as 

• Ender-class

• Bambu P1P

• Flashforge AD5X

Print Details

• Designed for FDM

• Recommended layer height: .18-.20

• Suggested infill: 10-15%

• PLA or PLA + (or whatever you like best)

• Filament used: Flashforge HS PLA (ruby red) & Esun PLA Basic (white)

Settings

• Nozzle = .4

• Temp = 215 first, 210 other

• Bed = Smooth PEI

• Bed Temp = 56 first, 54 other

• Layer = .18

• Infil = 15% grid

• no brim

• Orca Slicer

• Printed on Flashforge AD5X

Compatibility

• If you are going to showcase another novel in the series or a paperback edition you'll need to resize in chosen CAD software or your slicer (I have not used slicer's scale feature with this model)

Ideas for prints (I like simplicity but these options would certainly stand out)

• Marble white columns with gold dry brushing

• Matte Black "Obsidian" base

• Red metallic accent lines 

• Gold leaf column caps

• House sigil inlay (would have to bring into CAD) but damn, House Mars would look cool)
