Heyho

Here I have a hinge that is designed to be printed with 2 materials. A stiff Frame and a flexible Core + Connection. Also there is a support made out of the stiff material.

The hinges are made with two materials (soft & hard). The hardness depends on the perimeter, infill, and, of course, the material. The materials are nested within each other due to the design, which makes the tool sturdy enough for everyday use.

Plate 1: Scaled 140%
Plate 2:  Normale No Chamfer
Plate 3: Normal with Chamfer

Printing:

I made the prototypes with 95A HF Bambulab TPU, and they work great.

For the handle, I recommend something tough like PETG or PA-CF. But PLA also works great.

Slicer:
For the strongest bond I had to separate the hinges into single objects. Else they won't print bottom and top layers properly.
So make sure  not to moove the parts individually. Always select the TPU part and the handle at the same time to move them or merge them together first.

Scalability:
You can also scale the parts if you need slightly different sizes. But again: make sure to select both parts first and scale them at the same time.

In the sliced files I prescaled one hinge to 140% just to show how simple this is.

Have fun!
