Strap Coiler for Selve Roller Shutters

Replacement housing for Selve strap coiler with a distance between the mount screws of 155 mm.

The original product is listed as 084801/084803/084805 (white), 084841/084841/084841 (brown), 084851/084853 (cream), 084861/084863 (anthracite).

Printed inside the original housing are the numbers 002360 and 002361 (see photo).

The model is parameterized and can be adapted for different strap lengths in the FreeCAD file:

The value Spool_diameter in the Params variable set can be adapted to match the expected diameter of the strap spool inside the housing. Scaling should be an iterative process to prevent the model from breaking. Steps of ± 2 mm should be safe. Note that the models will break for values lower than 83 mm.

When transferring the hub and/or changing the strap, take care not to hurt yourself.

Keep in mind that the hub contains a loaded spring. Hold the metal strip on the hub so that the spring will not unwind while moving the hub into a different housing.
