COOKIE RECIPE

INGREDIENTS:

2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup sugar
100 g butter (room temperature)
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon baking powder

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. In a bowl, mix the butter and sugar until smooth.

2. Add the egg and vanilla extract and mix well.

3. Add the flour and baking powder gradually, mixing until a uniform dough forms.

4. Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

5. Roll out the dough on a floured surface and cut with the cookie cutter.

6. Place on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.

7. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 10–15 minutes or until lightly golden.

8. Let cool before decorating.
