Bracket to repair a broken refrigerator handle on a Frigidaire LFHT1817LW3. This is for the fridge handle, not the freezer handle. Requires cutting off an exact amount of the handle due to the spacers inside the cap part. Improves original design as it's thicker and has a hook to reach the far side in addition to the screws. See comments for other models it may fit based on user feedback!
From the top of the fridge door down to the top of the cut off fridge handle, that vertical distance needs to be 14.44 mm. At that distance, the handle will be fully seated in the cap, the bracket flush with the top of the fridge door, and the factory bottom mounting screw pulled up into the handle slot.
The bracket isn't perfect, the rotation of the handle profile is off a little so when installed, it's slightly twisted, but still works. The cap is also a veryvery tight fit on the handle, you may need to chamfer the edges of the handle and scrape bracket/handle as needed. I went with the very tight over a loose fit so the handle doesn't fall off since there's no fasteners on the bracket apart from the two screws used to hold it to the door on the top.
Can print at any infill percentage, more is probably better, all the way to solid. Print with supports for counterbore holes as they're upside-down. Solidworks 2008 file included.
