Low Profile Lens Hood for Light Lens Lab 35mm f/1.4 Aspherical

This is a simple, low-profile lens hood for the Light Lens Lab 35mm f/1.4 Aspherical. The lens hood that comes with it is a copy of the original Leica hood for the 35mm AA, and it is very large. This hood is intended to be smaller, and protect the front of the lens against bumps and keep fingers off the front element. It does not stop flares, and the optical things you actually use a lens hood for.

It screws into the filter threads, but also covers the hood mount ring, ending just before the alignment dot on the ring in front of the aperture ring. The overall style is inspired by the lens cap.

At present, it cannot be used with any lens cap, either the one that comes with the lens or any 46mm pinch cap.

Note: Please be careful using it with a filter, as it can be difficult to remove from the filter if it is too tightly screwed into the filter.
