PDF

A simple desk stand for the common 4 line LCD Display (4x20) panel. Includes a way to tie off the wires to the connector on the I2C board mounted to the back of the display. The display is attached by four #6-32 threaded mounts. I included a print for a #6-32 nut incase you don't have some laying around.

The stand is great in helping prevent accidental damage (i.e. shorts) when you are doing your prototyping; also keeps your fingers off the circuit board for the most part.

Print instructions

Category: Electronics Print Settings

Printer Brand: Prusa

Printer: I3 MK3S

Rafts: No

Supports: No

Resolution: 0.2mm

Infill: 15%

Filament: Hatchbox PLA Grey
Notes:

Print face down to get a good edge on the inner rectangle and good threads on the mounting pins.

Printing the nuts is optional, I found that the board fits tightly on the 4 pins. The nuts do help; I found that just installing 2 worked fine.

How I Designed This

Designed in Fusion 360

I designed this in Fusion 360. I based my design on the original board. Here are the dimensions I used:
