Inspiration

The first thing i thought when i saw the AxiDraw was " I want that " but then after a few seconds i said " im building that ". I finished my design a couple of weeks after it was announced. Even though i have built my own CoreXY i could not get into my head the belt path. After some research and help from the community i got to the HBOT design.

From there was just figuring out how to build it with whatever i had left from other projects. I was stuck for a couple of days figuring out how to build it, since i did not want to use 2 plates to carry the linear bearing. Move this here, move this there until i hit the sweet spot.

Objective

Build a machine to be used with a laser diode to test LaserWeb, a very complete open source solution for Lasers ( cncpro.co ). Simple to print, easy to assemble and mostly inexpensive. Needed to be small and able to carry it around.

Sorry about the rust, but where i live even rust get rust

Update: Im using LaserWeb4 with GRBL 1.1, you can find the firmware here https://github.com/cojarbi/grbl-servo-CoreXY
