This is a simple little box that holds a flyback diode for solenoid flyback protection in my virtual pinball cabinet: http://lilmikey.com/2017/02/16/virtual-pinball-cabinet/
The diode is needed to 'short circuit' any current caused by the shaft springing back through the solenoid coil. The diode allows any current generated to recycle through the solenoid which may reduce reset time of the solenoid but protects the relay or other sensitive electronics from the reverse current.
It's basically a tiny snap together box with holes in the sides for the wires and a mounting screw hole.
