Here's my Take on Oculus Touch grips for Beat Saber. I designed these to be as safe as possible - for a 3d printed design. The cups support screw tightening (m3) but also have a place to string the built-in controller tether as well as rubber bands, string, or bungees to hold the controller in the cups.
The cups can mount to 3/4" schedule 40 PVC, any length you desire and secured with a small screw, or full handles can be printed. The handles support multiple screw in end caps - also supporting a tether. You can also use a double-sided screw endcap and attach the handles to each other for a short staff. The printed handles also have a small inlay for wrapping with grip tape or, in my case, tennis racket grips.
Obviously these should be printed very sturdy and I'm not responsible for you launching your half broken handle through your monitor.

Notes:
PETG, lots of walls, lots of infill, a bit extra heat, a bit extra flow, minimal cooling.
