Don't throw away your wooden folding clothes drying rack just because a leg broke! This 3D printed repair bracket acts as a reinforcing splint that slides over the broken leg joint and is secured with a screw or dowel through the pre-made hole.
The Problem:
Wooden accordion-style clothes drying racks are prone to leg breakage at the joints, especially after years of use. The wood splinters and the leg can no longer support the rack. Replacement racks can be expensive, and the rest of the rack is usually still perfectly fine.
The Fix:
1. Cut away any loose or splintered wood from the broken area
2. Slide the bracket over the leg at the break point
3. Secure with a wood screw or dowel through the hole
4. Your rack is back in service!
