After our dishwasher detergent door latch broke I looked to replace the latch, only to find that the part was only sold as a assembly... A $105 assembly....
So... 30 minutes of design and 30 minutes of printing later it was fixed, and if it fails again I can just print another.
Posted as a reference in case anyone else needs the same part.
Printer Brand: Prusa
Printer: Prusa Mk2
Rafts: No
Supports: Yes
Resolution: .20 Normal with Variable Layer adjustments
Infill: 100%
Notes:
Printed in PETG which will withstand the temperatures of the dishwasher.
The O-Ring is also still required for the new part, in one image it appears the collar is thicker at that point possibly eliminating it.
Finishing:
The diameter of the shaft at the tip is printed quite tight, you'll likely need to sand the diameter slightly to get it to fit into the release catch on the inside, this was done intentionally as on another dishwasher I repaired the fit was too loose.
