Mounting bracket for IKEA TRÅDFRI 30w & BESTA

This mount allows you to attach the led driver directly to the back of the IKEA BESTA shelf (or any other).

Included is the fusion360 file (it's a bit messy) to allow for your own modifications.

Versions

There is a 45deg angled version (which I used) and another untested and slightly slimmer version to mount it to the side. If I'm not mistaken, you can simple use the mirror function in Prusa slicer to change the mounting side / direction.

You can (and probably should) use a m3 screw to keep the driver in place (technically you can add up to 3 in each notch, but one is enough) - I used a 10mm long one, but you can definitely use a shorter one

I used 3,9x22 PH fast wood screws to mount it to my BESTA shelf.

Print Settings

• Printed with (cheap) PETG

• 0.4 nozzle

• 0.2 layers

• 10-15% infill

• Speed Profile (although technically it's a mechanical part and  Structural would be better)

• so technically everything default, feel free to adjust wall / vertical shells and infill (pattern) if you need extra strength and have the time.

It's not perfectly structured and probably not fully constrained, but should help you to do modifications in case you need to. Most of it has user parameters

Used it as inspiration, everything was redesigned.
- Added screw support to mount it to the side (for IKEA BESTA)
- Added also a mount for the white connector box
- Added a zip tie support for the BESTA shelf
