I modified to meet my needs, add a few "Updates" I found useful, and to fit a Samsung Galaxy S7.
I included the Sketchup File as well in case others find it useful, I typically work scaled up so you'll find a few copies of the components, a scaled up set assembled, a proper sized set assembled, the both broken down to work on as well.
Some Modifications from the original (the ones that I can remember):
• Cog Cover and Main Chassis modified to allow you to "lock" it in place using a couple of short pieces of 1.75mm filament instead of screws seen in other versions.
• Cog Cover modified to have a dropped lip to keep the Cog gear centered, the bearing surface was also enlarged to help with wobble/fit.
• Crank Wheel/Shaft modified to increase the square shaft dimensions slightly to make the fit between it and the Gear slightly tighter.
• Crank Handle parts reworked to add screw threads, the original didn’t fit to well for me and could be improved, this lets you screw the handle parts together and keeps it in place.
• Chassis modified at the stopper/volume control level to fit the Galaxy S7 headphone volume control and provide clearance for the menu button.
• Stopper rebuilt to fit the Galaxy S7 volume control and hit the “Up” volume button consistently.
• Main chassis modified to add a relief to the corners which meet in the middle to add a lip to pry against to aid in part removal
• Cradle modified to fit the Galaxy S7, also fits the S6, S5, S4.
• Chassis modified to fit the slightly larger Galaxy S7 headphone 3.5mm Jack.
Hope you find this useful!
