*Part list below*
A simple DIY 5V USB-powered solder fume extractor with filter. Printed in 2 pieces. You only need to cut the wire and solder to the switch. You can also skip the soldering and just (un)plug the USB to power on/off.

Switch (21x15mm): https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_c3G0CWPh
short piece of wire (2x 10 cm)
shrink tube (2x 2 cm)
zip-tie (3 mm width)
wire cutter
wire stripper
Solder iron + solder
hot air gun or lighter (for the shrink tube)
Cut the positive wire of the fan and solder a piece of wire to each end (+/- 10 cm). Add a piece of shrink sleeve over the solder joint.
Add the switch to the front
Solder the two wire ends to the switch (it does not matter which one goes to which contact).
Place the filter in the front piece.
Place the fan in the back piece. Check the orientation! Place the wires in the same corner and the sticker on the fan should be on the back.
Guide black cable through the cut-out in the front piece and fix it with a tie-wrap. This prevents tension on the contacts of the soldered wire-ends.
Carefully place the front and back piece on top of each other. Press to close the assembly, should be just enough friction to hold together but still be able to take apart. You could use glue but I prefer not to.
(optional) You can add the hook piece to your Skadis board and hang to fume extractor onto it.
