A toy I grew up playing with finally broke at my parent's house. I decided to use photogrammetry and create a scan of the remains, generate a mesh, then cleaned it up and modeled it in Fusion360. Then 3d printed two halves to make a replacement. Use 1.75mm filament segments for construction pins when gluing the halves for proper alignment.
