Please note that in order for your Wyze Cam v2 to fit this redesigned case as-is, you'll need to desolder the USB-A port from the back of your Wyze Cam v2 and ditch the speaker. If you'd prefer to keep this, feel free to remix my design by modifying the back panel to accomodate it. I didn't need the functionality of the USB-A port or the speaker and felt it was restricting my ability to slim the case down

The reason behind this design is that I've been experimenting with creating an internet-connected bird's nest camera. I originally started with a Raspberry Pi Zero and IR LEDs, but ran into issues with heat. I decided to pick up a refurbished Wyze Cam v2 from Microcenter due to its small form factor and ability to use RTSP. After taking it apart, I realized how much smaller the case could be with some modifications (i.e. removing the speaker and USB-A port).

While this can be used in its current form, I plan on making some additional modifications to allow for mounting.

Notes:

While I personally printed this model using PETG at .32 resolution, rafts and support, it really depends on what materials you end up using along with what sort of quality you're going for.

I do recommend using supports for the lip within the two holes on the face of the camera. This allows for the tabs of the black plastic to snap in place.
