Distributor and Cone shaped tamper for the excellent Flair Pro 2 Espresso maker.
I found that my Flair Pro 2 tend to start dripping from the outside first then to the middle during pre-infusion. So I made the distributor to help me even out the grounds, and the cone-shape tamper make the puck thinner in the center. It came out quite well and coffee drips out evenly and taste a little better.
I set the slicer for the distributor and cone tamper body to 0.2mm layer height, 20% infill, then use variable height setting to print the top surfaces at 0.05mm layer height and 100% infill (Use the 3mf files, layer height and infill are setup already). I polished the top with very fine sand paper until they are very very smooth. A lot of work but it is worth it, coffee ground won't stick to the distributor.
For ‘Cone Tamper for lathe’, it is oversized and required further trimming. Print the Tamper at 100% infill, Screw Thread and the Lathe attachment ring at 30% infill. Assemble the 3 parts together, put them on a lathe (I have access to a cheap lathe that can only do plastic and wood),use the lathe setup guide if necessary, trim and smooth the top surface and the outside diameter to size. Again, polish the surface with very fine sand paper until satisfied.
