The Spring Guard from the previous revision, but better!


Springs guard will secure the balls, and will delete the possible eventuallity of them escaping the mechanism.
This can happen when lifting the bed or the PEI, or over a short over-acceleration on a Z motion by exemple.
This modification will allow a better Z accelerations (Tilt+Mesh faster)
Avoid time lost in looking for the balls which fell of.
This solution won't mess with the anti-wobble capability.
This last version allow an easier assembly, and a simplified bed arm design

Z-Upgrade has been designed to fit all the needs: From standard stock 300mm machine to extreme 1000mm build with resilient conception in mind, the Z-Upgrade 4.0 fits for every need.
Details:
The base kit is common to any Vcore size, only the ballscrews needs to be longer or shorter to anapt, 300, 400, 500 or any other dimension
To choose the Ballscrews: Machine size + 150mm
EXEMPLE: I got a Vcore 400, I choose 550mm (400+150) Ballcrew lenght
Kits printed in high quality annealed PA12-CF or PPS-CF with advanced in house process.

Compatibility:
ONLY for VCORE 4.0/4.1 CORE XY and HYBRID CORE XY
The Z-Upgrade fit exactly like the stock Z-System volume, it is then fully compatible with IDEX and VAOC. Only the 3mm holes on the bottom plates needs to be enlarged to 4mm

This Bundle has some advantages for North America customers: Tariff will only apply to printed parts, the ballscrews are shipped from a US supplier, this will reduce the shipping and the import taxes. Z-Upgrade parts are the same across 300/400/500, only the ballscrew lengh changes. |
