This is a mini version remix of Braincodec's great design.
To make it easier I have resized the parts, 75%, needed from his version and added the new parts for the remix and accessories. It uses 6mm x 260mm rods from an old printer. For my version the knob will rotate the board but the board will not move vertically. All of the board clamping is done by the spring on the side opposite the knob side.
I allowed for clamping bolts for the legs but when I had it done I realized they are no longer necessary.
The component holder assembly easily snaps on and off. I used anti-static foam on the component holder that came with an IC chip.
Use a very light spring for the component holder pin. A bit heavier one for the clamping hand pin. The springs inside the knob are cut by experimenting with different lengths.
If anyone wants to use my accessories on braincodec's original design you could try scaling the parts 133.333%.
Use CA to glue the legs to the leg sliding clamping trays. Have the rods in place and try to not get glue on the rods. I didn't glue the rod end strip on. The optional tray can be used or you can print a second regular tray if you like.
