This is the application of Lissajous* figures utilizing the interaction of two perpendicular sinusoidal wave-forms to create 3D artistic forms for home decoration in the shape of a vase and flowers.
The outer area of the vase is an open void framework of vertically orientated curved elements arranged in a circle with a hollow cylinder forming the cavity.
The models were created using BlocksCAD which allowed the mathematical creation and manipulation of Lissajous figures to create the basic form to which elements are added or removed.
The files for the Lissajous flowers can be found here:

If you intend to add a flower its recommended to use a Floral water tube as the cavity is not waterproof by design. Even if the cavity holds water without leaking, a water tube is preferable at it can be easily cleaned.
The following are examples of Floral water tubes that can be used:
Acrylic Clear 24(lip) x 1.7(tube) x 120(long) mm (protrudes a little above the vase top)
Translucent Plastic with lid 19(lip) x 110(long), lid 24(dia) mm (sits beneath the level of the vase top without the lid, sits on the rim of the cavity if the lid is fitted)

*Lissajous figures named after Jules-Antoine Lissajous (Also known as Bowditch Curves after the initial work of Nathaniel Bowditch), who devised a method to study compound vibrations. Originally employing pendulums, tuning forks and optical methods. Reflecting light from mirrors on two tuning forks vibrating at right angles will display Lissajous figures as will other devices such as Harmonographs and Panto-graphs.

Print Details
Filament: Vase - PLA red, (colour subject to used preference).
Layer Height: 0.15 mm
Infill: 100%
Build Adhesion: Skirt
No supports
Speed: 150 mm/s or slower.
Avoid parts when traveling

Part orientated for printing directly.
With these settings the print time was 25 hours, subject to your particular printer and variation in setting the print time may differ.
Ensure your printer is well calibrated, you may have to set the speed much slower than that specified as the section between the second curve of the base and the start of the vertical section can be sensitive to under extrusion.
Post Processing
Possible removal of under extrusion spaghetti.
